KKU Engineering hosts a tripartisan meeting to boost idea on “higher education for industry”

Faculty of Engineering together with its allies; Innovation Technology Assistance Program (ITAP), The National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council, KKU Network and Chulalongkorn University launched a project entitled, Higher Education for Industry (Hi-FI) at Avani Hotel in Khon Kaen. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchapol Santiwarakorn, a dean of Faculty of Engineering presided over the ceremony held on September 4.

Dr. Ratchapol explained that the Higher Education for Industry, Hi-Fi for short, is a project that recruits bachelor degree graduates from any fields of engineering to attend a two-year probation program as either engineering assistant/assistant of foreman or assistant of head department, at designated workforces. During this trainee-hood, the candidates are requested to enrol in a master degree course in Higher Education for Industry. It is a policy that the participants conduct a research into the matter of the contents of the company at which there are working for. This school of thought should be efficient in helping the company to attend technology sustainability.
