Staff of Communication Division support health-promoting policy

The 100km run under the KKU Healthy Life project – with a reward for the winner of the 56-year group. 

      October 3, 2019 – The “KKU Healthy Life” project closing ceremony was held. The “KKU Healthy Life” – walk and run for health for KKU staff members – was aimed at exercising for health among KKU personnel organized by Human Resource Section and Division of Human Resource of Khon Kaen University. The ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., Advisor to Acting President of Khon Kaen University. Among attendants were Asst. Prof. Arwut Yimtae, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment; Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyawat Foithong, Assistant to the President for Infrastructure and Environment; and Mr. Sathit Kaewbudda, Director of Division of Human Resource. The “KKU Healthy Life” had invited all KKU personnel to exercise by walking or running and collecting the distance from July 2019 to August 31, 2019 until the 100 km was reached. Every two months, Finisher shirt rewards were given to those passing the criteria. There were 1,120 participants from all organizations in KKU including Nongkhai Campus and 618 passed. Those collecting the greatest distance were classified by gender and age to receive the rewards.  

      The Communication Division staff also joined the activity and the following people passed the criteria: Miss Cholwaporn Chuklin, Miss Juthamas Pilachai, Mr. Udomchai Supannawong, Mrs. Wachara Noichompoo, Miss Jiraporn Pratomchai, Mr. Atthapon Hampong.

      Mr. Udomchai Supannawong, a senior professional Public Relation officer aged 57 year also won the greatest distance award for the age group of over 56 years, collecting the distance of 731.12 km. bringing pride to the Division.
