KKU Hosts PNU for a Dynamic Exchange of Ideas to Propel University Development in the Digital Age

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, Khon Kaen University opened its doors to a delegation from Princess of Naradhiwas University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattarawit Polpinit, Vice President for Human Resources. The visit, held at the Sarasin Meeting Room, was a vibrant platform for exchanging innovative ideas and strategies to elevate both institutions to new heights in the digital era.


Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattarawit Polpinit expressed his delight and honor in welcoming the delegation, highlighting the invaluable opportunity to share insights and experiences in organizational management. “This exchange is pivotal for enhancing the quality of educational institutions, ensuring they remain agile and responsive to evolving trends,” he remarked.


The collaboration aims to foster a robust partnership between the universities, enabling them to share best practices and management strategies. “Today’s dialogue opens doors for both institutions to learn from each other, enhancing our capabilities for efficient and impactful management,” Dr. Pattarawit added.


Asst. Prof. Wanchai Kaew Noonual, Vice President for Student Affairs at Princess of Naradhiwas University, expressed gratitude for the warm reception. He noted that although Princess of Naradhiwas University is relatively new, it aspires to reach the stature of leading universities. “Khon Kaen University is a powerhouse, driving initiatives on both national and international stages. We are here to learn from their exemplary management practices,” he stated.

The day was filled with camaraderie, as both universities exchanged tokens of appreciation and captured the moment with group photos. The session then transitioned into a lively exchange of knowledge, with representatives discussing key areas such as academic management, financial strategies, and staff development.

From Khon Kaen University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Piyawat Saipan, Director of the Bureau of Academic Administration and Development, and Prof. Dr. Kiatichai Faksri, Dean of the Graduate School, shared forward-thinking ideas on academic management. They emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making and skill mapping to design curricula that align with market needs, alongside using the Canvas model for sustainable lifelong learning.


Ms. Pannee Sakthassana, Director of the Finance Division, provided insights into financial management, while Mr. Satit Kaewbudta, Director of the Human Resources Division, discussed personnel management strategies. Mr. Pattarasak Thammasirirak, Director of the Strategy Division, elaborated on policy and planning management. Ms. Sunipa Sawaingern, Director of the Office of the President, highlighted Khon Kaen University’s transition to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system under the “KKU Transformation” strategy, which successfully went live on October 10.

This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards strengthening educational ties and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in higher education.
