Their victory is a testament to their hard work and the rigorous training provided by their mentors.
Adding to the university’s accolades, Ms. Poosuda Ternmongkol (3rd year) delivered a compelling oratorical performance, earning her the runner-up position. Her eloquence and depth of understanding captivated the judges, further highlighting the caliber of KKU’s students.
Assist. Prof. Chatanun Eamudomkarn, a guiding force behind the students’ success, expressed immense pride in their achievements. “Our students have consistently excelled in this competition, and this year was no exception. Their dedication and ability to apply complex parasitology concepts under pressure were truly commendable,” she remarked.
The competition was structured in two challenging rounds. The Pre-selection round tested participants with Direct Questions, Photo Questions, and High Thinking challenges. The top five teams advanced to the Grand Finale, where KKU’s second team emerged victorious, showcasing their unparalleled expertise in medical parasitology.
Mr. Chitsanupong Liumdee, reflecting on the team’s success, attributed their win to the comprehensive parasitology curriculum at KKU. “Our program’s intensity, combined with hands-on experience and the unwavering support of our professors, gave us a significant edge,” he shared.
This victory not only brings pride to KKU but also underscores the importance of parasitology in improving patient care. “Parasitic infections may not always be acute, but they significantly impact quality of life. I hope to use this knowledge to make a difference in the future,” Mr. Chitsanupong added.
The Faculty of Medicine at KKU, with its commitment to fostering learning beyond the classroom, continues to support such endeavors, ensuring students gain invaluable experiences and insights. This triumph is a shining example of what can be achieved with passion, perseverance, and the right guidance.
