KKU Science lecturer wins the first runner-up prize at the ASEAN DIGITAL AWARDS 2024 and a good invention award on the “Inventor Day

Asst. Prof. Tanapong Intara, Ph.D., a lecturer of the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Sciences, Khon Kaen University, won the first runner-up prize from the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024, in the Digital Innovation Category, from his work, “BiTNet”. The awarding announcement was held in Singapore from January 31 to February 1, 2024. The awarding ceremony, Gala Dinner and ASEAN Digital Awards 2024 Awarding Ceremony, was attended by Mr. Prasert Chanruangthong, Minister of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and Professor Wisit Wisitsora-at, D.E. Ministry Permanent Secretary, who honored the prize awardees in group photography.

On February 2, 2024 – Asst. Prof. Tanapong Intara, Ph.D. received the prize from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The good invention prize was awarded to Asst. Prof. Tanapong on the “Inventor Day”, organized by the National Research Council for the Fiscal Year 2024 at the EVENT HALL 101, Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center, Bangna, Bangkok. This event was held on February 2-6, 2024. His award was in the field of Information technology and communication sciences, on “Artificial Intelligent System for Assistive Screening of Cholangiocarcinoma Risk Group and Assistive Diagnostic Abnormalities in Human Upper Abdominal Via Ultrasound Image Analysis”.
