The Automation Robotics and Intelligent System: ARI Skill Development Project is an innovator developing project that will lead to commercial innovation and upgrade the country’s technologies. AI Innovation JumpStart Project has been carried out for 2 years. This features public relation and invitation for developers, technology entrepreneurs, professors and students to submit their projects in teams of 2-6 people each. These projects emphasize real practices to create prototype ARI that can be commercially usable in the future and is required in the market. Techniques and businesses that are necessary for manufacturing products commercially are trained by experts. There are scholarships available for promising prototypes. The project has begun since 2019, and selection was carried out for the Kickoff project, which was carried out in a Boot Camp in order to enhance design thinking and Lean Canvas Business Model. Then ten teams have been selected and receive a grant of 100,000 baht. The ten teams were invited to present their works in this event. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rachaphon Santiwarakorn explained to the news reporters that an important role of Khon Kaen University and Faculty of Engineering is in propelling activities like this one. The faculty has lecturers with expertise in Software Computer, which is a program of study offered. So the professors have been invited as the project advisors since the camping activity in order to provide the students with knowledge and new innovations until the teams could develop their prototypes.
