KKU receives the 9th NACC Integrity Awards 2020 Transparent Management Award: The first university in the nation

On March 29, 2019, Mr. Worawit Sukboon, Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission announced the 9th NACC Integrity Awards 2020 which are based on qualifications, evaluation, the administrators’ management and the key results of each operation. There were only 27 organizations that achieved the qualifications for the NACC Integrity Awards.

Khon Kaen University (KKU) has been announced to be 1 of 7 organizations to receive “the 9th Transparent Management Award”, and was the first university in the nation to receive a NACC Integrity Award. This is a great honor in society. KKU also received an honorable mention in the 8th NACC Integrity Awards 2019. There were 7 institutions which received this award, as follows: 1.) Legal Execution Department, 2.) Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation, 3.) PTT Public Company Limited, 4.) PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP), 5.) Muang Thai Life Assurance, 6.) Khon Kaen University, and 7.) Highland Research and Development Institute (HRDI).

This honorable award of the 9th NACC Integrity Awards 2020 for Transparent Management is evidence of KKU’s motivation to be an outstanding role model for transparent management. In addition, it demonstrates the good governance values, ethics and social responsibility of KKU.
