An engineering doctoral student wins the 1st runner-up award from MOST Innovation Award 2019

Mr. Jetsada Kumphong, a civil engineering doctoral student from the Faculty of Engineering, created a program for CCTV camera detecting red right running violation. He was advised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thaned Satiennam, Asst. Prof. Rujchai Ung-arunyawee, Dr. Watis Leelapatra, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichuda Satiennam, and Mr. Piyanut Jantosut. Mr. Jetsada won the 1st runner-up award from MOST Innovation Award 2019, which was the national competition, in the field of Business Innovation. The competition was organized from August 15-16, 2019 in the theme of Regional Science Park (RSP) Innovation Day 2019 by Science Park Promotion Agency (SPA) and Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation at Central Lardprao, Bangkok. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Soranit Siltharm, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, presided over and presented the awards to the winners of MOST Innovation Award 2019.

The objectives of this activity were to promote the missions, duties, and services of SPA located in the different regions to public – both public and private sectors. Moreover, it was an opportunity to present the performance of SPA including Regional Science Parks and give the awards to MOST Innovation Awards 2019 winners in 2 areas: Business Innovation and Innovation/ Commercial Process.
