KKU library organized KKU Library Share and Learn 2019 in the theme of “Customer Experience” (CX)

         On Friday August 16, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Khon Kaen University Library, KKU Library organized KKU Library Share and Learn 2019 in the theme of “Customer Experience” (CX) presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanida Kanarkard, Director of Khon Kaen University Library.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Supasit Konyai, Associate Director of Khon Kaen University Library for Structure, said KKU Library had emphasized on Excellent Resources Center and innovative services to support the university for becoming a world-class one, so it needed to be Smart Library promoting Creative Learning. Moreover, KKU Library was determined to be the model of steady learning and development for Embracing Innovative Services Culture. As a result, Knowledge Management (KM) had been applied to the organization’s development as well as innovative services, and KKU Library Share and Learn 2019 was held in the theme of “Customer Experience” (CX).

The objectives of KKU Library Share and Learn 2019 in the theme of “Customer Experience” (CX) were to promote exchange of knowledge rooted from daily work development, knowledge management, and good practice of people both inside and outside the university. It was a great opportunity to promote innovative services provided by the library as an organization of learning. There were 2 main activities which were show and share, the stage for exchange of knowledge and competition of academic work in the topics of good practice, work standard, developing regular work into research, case studies, performance evaluation, the development of process and innovation, and the special talk on “GSB Knowledge Sharing for Customer Experience” by Dr. Nontawat Sukpon, a senior specialist for policy and strategy of Government Savings Bank (headquarter).  To this competition, there were 32 projects submitted – 20 from KKU Library, 4 from libraries of different faculties, 2 from General Education Teaching Institute, 2 from Student Affairs and Alumni Division, 1 from Sports Division, 1 from International Satit School Network, and 1 from Organ Transplantation Center of Srinagarind Hospital.

The projects for competition were submitted in the form of video clips and presented on the stage in front of the audience. The winner received 3,000 baht cash prize; the 1st runner-up received 2,000 baht; the 2nd runner-up received 1,000 baht, and 3 Honorable Mention Awards with 500 baht each. Moreover, there was 500 baht cash prize of the popular vote winner.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanida Kanarkard said, “I would like to express my appreciation to staff members of KKU Library and all related parties constantly seeing importance and becoming the model of Knowledge Management (KM). This activity has been held for the 10th year which indicates that KKU Library is ready to support its staff’s work which has been developed and became good practice. That leads to exchange of knowledge among workers dedicating for their organizations as well as creating learning connection based on Knowledge Management.  This idea also spread to other people both inside and outside the university which indicates the annually increasing potential of KKU staff.”

KKUL Share & Learn 2019 competition results

  • The winners – Mr. Panuwat Utaiban, Mr. Tanachote Tedcharoen, Mr. Komsan Sayan, and Mr. Manuchet Kaewkamsai from KKU Library – for smart sensor detecting the height of piles of books received 3,000 baht cash prize.
  • The 1st runner-up – Mr. Teerayut Banchon, Mrs. Mukda Duangpim, Mrs. Yupa Duangpim, and Miss Suwanna Preebunpoon – for My 45 Minutes: reservation system before leaving a table at KKU Library received 2,000 baht cash prize.
  • The 2nd runner-up – Mr. Chalermpon Sangkaew from Sports Division and Mr. Pasapan Chinota from Central Administration Unit of Sports Division – for application information technology to services provided by sports center received 1,000 baht cash prize.
  • Honorable Mention Awards

-Information Management, Information Technology and Innovation Award for Smart Innovation Must be Made by MAKER SPACE from KKU Library with 500 baht cash prize
-Information Services and Customer Administration Award for Human Rights Classroom and Peace Study by Faculty of Law with 500 baht cash prize

-Organizational Administration Award for Administration: Paperless Office by Mrs. Thitirat Pakkatanang from KKU Library with 500 baht cash prize
•Popular Vote Award for smart sensor detecting the height of piles of books  by Mr. Panuwat Utaiban, Mr. Tanachote Tedcharoen, Mr. Komsan Sayan, and Mr. Manuchet Kaewkamsai from KKU Library with 500 baht cash prize
