KKU attends the 7th religious chanting ceremony for blessing HM the King

KKU representatives attend the 7th religious chanting ceremony for blessing HM Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn, and HM the Queen

On July 25, 2019 at 4.30 p.m. at Wat Klang, Muang District, Khon Kaen Province, Mrs. Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Acting Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, attended the religious chanting ceremony on behalf of Khon Kaen University with personnel of Communication Affairs Division. The 7th religious chanting ceremony for blessing Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana. It was an honor to have Dr. Somsak Jungtrakul, Khon Kaen Governor, presiding over the ceremony. Monks from different temples in Khon Kaen led the chanting participated by a lot of government officers, Buddhists, and students.

The religious chanting ceremony was held by National Office of Buddhism. It announced the the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand’s agreement – 25/2561, number 514/2561 – on organizing religious chanting ceremony nationwide in 2019 for blessing HM Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn, and HM the Queen at 4 p.m. of every month for 12 months.
