On 31 October 2022, at 14.00—15.00, College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University held a virtual MOU signing ceremony between College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University (COLA, KKU), Kingdom of Thailand and School of Government, Yunnan University (SOG, YNU) People’s Republic of China. The ceremony was led by Prof. Dr. Shengju FANG, Dean of School of Government, Yunnan University and Assoc. Prof. Peerasit Kamnuansilpa, Dean of College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, who signed the MOU to promote collaboration in public affair management, exchange programs and academic exchanges between the two institutes.
Assoc. Prof. Peerasit Kamnuansilpa, Dean of COLA, KKU said, before the covid-19 pandemic, COLA KKU ever visited YNU, the administrators from COLA KKU were impressed with the YNU’s prominent role in higher education development from Yunnan Province, the SOG YNU, also contributed to the development of Yunnan province in public services and for the citizens.
Assoc. Prof. Peerasit Kamnuansilpa, Dean of COLA KKU continued, “The signing of this MOU is a significant step forward in human resource development in public affairs management, students and faculty exchanges, research cooperation for the College of Local Administration. By the end, Mr. Dean also invite the administrators and professors from SOG YNU to join the coming 7th international conference on local government under the theme of leadership for digital governance: building the teams to implement the technology on 18-19 of November 2022.
Attending the ceremony as witnesses were administrators of COLA KKU, and SOG, YNU and this ceremony was held at 3rd floor of Dean’s office, College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University.
