September 2-4, 2022 – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University held the 15th International Conference on Educational Research (ICER) online. Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University presided over the opening ceremony, and Assoc. Prof. Sumalee Chaijaroen, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Education delivered the reporting speech.

The 15th International Conference on Educational Research (ICER 2022) was aimed at learning and sharing of education and research both in the country and abroad. Activities included pre-conference workshops run by experts in different fields. There were special talks by the following 4 well known experts: Prof. Dr. Sabine Seufert, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chiu-Lin Lai, National Taipei University of Education, Taiwan; Prof. Supawan Tantayanon, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Sciences, Chulalongkorn University; and Dr. Leela Worawutsuntorn from the College of Research Methodology and Cognitive Science, Burapa University.

Assoc. Prof. Sumalee Chaijaroen, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Education explained in her reporting speech, “The 15th ICER 2022 is held to open up a chance for educators from different countries to learn and share their experiences and for building the network that will meet the challenges in educational transformation. ICER 2022 is under the collaboration of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University; Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, in the Philippines; Central University of Technology, Free State, South Africa; State University of Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia; and College of Research Methodology and Cognitive Science, Burapa University. There are a lot of participants attending the conference and presenting their works, from Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa and many educational institutions in Thailand. More than 100 pieces of work and research are presented. Moreover, there will be special talks from experts of many different fields, so it is a good chance for participants to learn and share experiences together.”
