KKU doctor received a Royal Award for medical books and textbooks on advanced diagnostic cardiovascular imaging

Assoc. Prof. Narumon Chaosuwannakit, M.D., from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University received the first prize of DMSc Award and a Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhornvalailaksana, on advanced diagnostic cardiovascular imaging at the 29th Annual Medical Science Conference: “The New Normal Medicine for Thai Health and Economy” organized by the Department of Medical Science and Department of Medical Science Foundation.

This book is the first book on advanced diagnostic cardiovascular imaging in Thailand. The text was written with an aim to provide an information source for citation on advanced diagnostic cardiovascular imaging. The text covers many perspectives of key contents in cardiovascular topics for teaching and learning, as well as for specific programs that certify expertise in diagnostic radiology and diagnostic imaging. The text also benefits medical students, other medical fields, radiologists or medical professionals, for it has integrated the bodies of knowledge about cardiovascular diagnosis, and was written by a doctor who has dedicated her work on this field at Srinagarind Hospital and Queen Sirikit Heart Center of Khon Kaen University. Assoc. Prof. Narumon Chaosuwannakit, M.D. is a pioneer in this field who has carried out a lot of research and worked from the problems encountered, thus truly deserves the Royal DMSc Award this year.
